Year One.

On Sunday Steven and I will celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe that at this time last year I was getting ready for a weekend full of wedding activities. Butterflies were filling my stomach, and I was doing my best to remain calm while getting dolled up for my bridesmaid luncheon. It was the beginning of the biggest and best journey I've ever embarked on.

That weekend was a blur of excitement and emotions, much like this first year of marriage has been. In our first year as husband and wife we have learned to work as a team, made memories that will last a lifetime, laughed together, experienced emotional hardships together, and grown even closer together. And I can say without hesitation that it has been the best year of my entire life. 

It's hard to imagine that things can get any better than they are now, but I have a feeling that year two will be even better than the last. I can't wait to see where this journey takes us. I fall in love with my husband more and more every single day, and I couldn't imagine doing life with anyone else by my side.
