My Everyday Mom Uniform

3.31.2016

Getting dressed looks a lot different these days. I'm no longer worried about picking out the perfect pair of heels to go with my outfit or topping off my makeup with the perfect shade of lipstick. These days I do good if I get in a quick shower before the baby wakes up. Most of my dress clothes have been shoved to the back of the closet because more times than not I reach for the nearest pair of yoga pants and a top that (semi) matches before getting Charlie Beth dressed and heading out for the day.
Most days Charlie Beth and I venture out to the grocery store, run some errands, and end our days with a stroll around the park before heading home. Yoga pants aren't only comfortable to wear during the day, but they are also practical. Lets face it, I'm not going to put on a dress and wedges just to run to the grocery store!
YogaOutlet has made my life easier by offering cute and affordable yoga pants. Gone are the days where all I can muster are plain black leggings! YogaOutlet has a variety of cute and colorful yoga pants.
YogaOutlet has a vast variety of yoga pants on their site. I had such a difficult time narrowing down my selection! These black patterned pants are my go to. They are so comfortable and perfect for our afternoon walk around the park.
If you're looking to add another pair of yoga pants to your closet (and lets face it, who isn't?!), head over to YogaOutlet and pick out your favorite style!
This post is Sponsored by YogaOutlet. I received a compimentary pair of yoga pants in exchange for my review. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

Charlie Beth || Four Months

3.29.2016

I suppose since Charlie Beth will be five months next week it's probably about time I get her four month update written and posted...

How is it possible that my itty bitty newborn baby is already four months old!? You are busy these days, and it is so much fun watching you learn new things and take in the world around you. I am so thankful that I get to spend my days with you, baby girl.

You had your four month doctor appointment at the beginning of the month. You weigh 16 lbs (85%) and are standing tall at 26 1/4 inches (98%). You definitely get your height from your daddy! You are wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes. You're so tall that 6 month pants are even starting to get too short on you! You are currently in size 2 diapers.
You have started giggling, and your laugh is so contagious! You light up a room with you big gummy grins. You have also started squealing when you see something that you like. It's so fun to watch you light up with excitement!
You are currently taking about four naps a day. You go down for your first nap about an hour after you wake up in the mornings. Your next few naps are all over the place though! You usually take a nap while we are out running errands during the day, and you'll take another late afternoon nap before mommy gets started on dinner. You are still rocking at your bedtime routine!
You're still sleeping in your rock n play next to mommy and daddy's bed. You usually wake up anywhere from 1:00am-3:00am, and when you do mommy pulls you into bed with us. I nurse you back to sleep, and you sleep the rest of the night cuddled up next to me. It's my favorite part of the night! I know we will have to transition you out of the rock n play soon, and I am dreading making that move!
You are such a strong little baby! You were rolling over from tummy to back at three weeks old, and before you turned four months you were already rolling from back to tummy. You LOVE rolling over, but you usually start crying the minute your tummy touches the ground because you hate being on your stomach!
We think you will be teething pretty soon. You are start to drool a lot, and you have been keeping your hands in your mouth constantly! I know it won't be long before a tooth starts to break through!
You found your feet this month, and you LOVE playing with them! As soon as I lay you down you throw those feet up in the air and catch them with your hands. It makes diaper changes a challenge!
You're still on your acid reflux medicine, but we are hoping that you outgrow your reflux soon. I tried to wean you off the medicine once, and you were definitely not ready! I hate seeing you hurt, so we'll keep you on your medicine as long as you need!
Some of your favorite things this month include: your swing (I seriously don't know what we are going to do when you outgrow that thing!), your piano floor mat, riding in the car, watching your puppy dogs, and being outside.
You're not a big fan of: Your bumbo seat, letting mommy eat dinner (it's your fussy time, and you refuse to let me put you down), and strangers talking to you.
I look at you everyday and can't believe how quickly you are growing. I love spending my days with you and watching you take in the world around you. You are so much fun! We love you more than you'll ever know, baby girl!
