Five on Friday

11.15.2013

Happy Friday, friends! I don't know if it was the traveling or the cold temperatures over the last few days, but this week certainly took it's toll on me. Thankfully, Friday finally arrived and to make it even better I am working from home today. Jealous? You should be.
Anywho, let's get down to business and do the usual Friday thing.

1// Date night.
Between both of us traveling (separately) this past weekend to me being out of town for work most of the week, the fiance and I have hardly seen each other this week. Therefore, a date night is most definitely in order for tonight. We haven't decided whether we will have a date night in with pizza and movies or a date night out doing who knows what, but either way we will be together and that's what really matters.

2// Christmas decorating.
I've held out as long as possible. The Christmas decorations will (most likely) be making their appearance into our home this weekend. My pinspiration holiday board has grown quite a bit since this post, so it's about time I take a look back at it and get to decorating. My goal is to get a good bit of the inside of the house decorated this weekend, the tree up and decorated the next weekend, and the outside lights and decor out immediately after Thanksgiving. That's a pretty attainable goal, right?

3// Christmas shopping.
I'll stick to the Christmas theme with this one. I so wish I was one of those ahead of the game people who bought Christmas presents year round and kept  stock hidden in the guest bedroom closet until Christmas season, but unfortunately that just isn't me. I'm more of a wait until last minute then scramble to find everyone the perfect present kind of person.

4// Working out.
With the wedding less than five months away (I still can't believe it's coming up that quickly) and the Jamaican Honeymoon booked, it's safe to say that I have stepped up my workout routine. I even made the commitment to work out in the hotel fitness center while I was out of town this week. My legs are sore. My arms are sore. My abs are sore. And it feels wonderful. I'm planning to begin with a personal trainer next month. I will look good in my wedding dress, damnit.

5// Blog domain.
I bit the bullet and purchased my very own domain. The only problem is, I have no idea how to point my blog to the new domain. I attempted to read all the blogger help articles and follow the step by step procedure, however, I was SOL. So basically I'm now begging for your help. If anyone can and is willing to help me make this transition, please let me know! Eventually you will be able to find me at www.believeinthesparks.com. I'm feeling so official!

Enjoy your weekend!
I know I will.

And YES to Christmas decorating!! Thanksgiving comes way too late this year and it seems like a great idea to put the decor up early since it won't be up for long! =D
