Weekend Snapshots + A Giveaway

2.24.2014

Friday night the fiancé and I went out for dinner and drinks downtown. It was the perfect low key date night to unwind and relax after such a long week. We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant and then walked across the street to a fun little bar for a couple more drinks before calling it a night.
Saturday I met up with my mom for an afternoon of wedding planning. It was sunny and warm on Saturday, so we decided where better to do a little wedding planning than sitting outside of one of our favorite restaurants with cocktails in hand. We were able to check a few more items of the to-do list, including the major task of finalizing the guest list (probably the most difficult thing so far).
Sunday I met up with my parents for a little brunching and mimosa drinking. The weather was more than perfect, so naturally I spent the rest of Sunday Funday in the backyard with the dogs and a refreshing beverage in hand.
That was until Steven and our favorite newlywed couple dragged me to the Bass Master Classic downtown. I went kicking and screaming, but (I'm a little embarrassed to say this) it was actually pretty fun. Who knew I could get so anxious and worked up to see a bunch of men weighing in fish?! Maybe it was the fact that the guy in first place was a local boy who had never won big before, but it was definitely an experience that was fun to witness.
And because it's Monday and everyone needs a little pick me up on Monday mornings, I've partnered with Libby and a few other girls to bring you a fabulous Spring giveaway!
We will be giving away four great prizes - a $30 gift card to the store of your choice to pick out new clothes from their spring line, a mint green floral necklace, mint druzy inspired glittery stud earrings from PenelopeLily, and a canvas clutch with floral embellishment. Pretty awesome gifts, right?!

    1. Oh my gosh that's my worst fear. We have to give the caterer a number within a few months and I would be so upset if we pay for them to come and they don't show.
