When we first started wedding planning over sixteen months ago, one of the most important things for me was to have a fabulous photographer. I wanted someone there not to just take pictures of our special day, but the capture the memories. Someone who would not only capture our love on camera, but would capture the atmosphere of our entire wedding day.
That is where Armosa Studios enters the picture. I knew from my very first conversation with Tera that I wanted her to photograph our wedding. Her style was everything and more that I had envisioned for my pictures, and she has a sense of calm about her that I knew would be so important to have with the chaos that surrounds a wedding.
Steven had one request for our wedding. He didn't want to see me before the ceremony. He wanted to see me for the first time as I walked down the aisle to marry him. I, on the other hand, preferred to have a first look. My main concern was that we wouldn't have time to take all the pictures that I wanted to take if we didn't have a first look before the ceremony. When I told Tera of the concerns, however, she immediately eased all my fears. She told me the story of her wedding day and how her favorite part of the day was seeing Wes' face the moment the chapel doors opened for the ceremony. She ensured that she would be able to take all the pictures that we wanted after the ceremony and that she could do it in a very timely manner. She was right.
Yesterday Tera posted these pictures and more on her blog. I saw them for the first time last night, and I probably looked at them fifteen times after that. I'm in love! She truly captured every moment from our incredibly special day. From my wedding shoes (you finally get to see my surprise Christian Louboutin wedding shoes!), to the first dance, to the exit, Wes & Tera captured it all. I am beyond anxious to see all of the pictures from that amazing day, but for now, here is a glimpse into our dream wedding.
