Marriage. It's the greatest and most important partnership that you will ever venture into. It's special, it's meaningful, and it's not something to be taken lightly.

Before Steven and I said our wedding vows we made a vow to one another. Divorce is not an option. We took it seriously when we said for better or worse and until death do us part. When we exchanged rings, we exchanged a promise. The greatest promise that you could ever give another person. The promise to love them and cherish one another forever.
Our marriage is something that Steven and I both work daily to protect. We understand that a marriage can't survive without hard work and compromise. There are times that my husband and I have to put our difference aside and work together as a team. We don't always understand each other's point of view, but we always respect it.
There are many times when we disagree about household chores, weekends plans, and other petty things, but we never let a small disagreement turn into a big argument. Steven and I have learned early on in our marriage that communication is key. I can't read his mind, and he can't read mine. We have to talk about our feelings and our ideas with one another.
At the end of the day, I am married to my best friend and my other half. I married the man who makes me strive to be a better person. My biggest cheerleader and my strongest support system. I couldn't imagine doing life with anyone else.

Until death do us part, I will do everything in my power to protect my marriage, and I know that my husband will do the same.
