I Have Big News...

I have yet to make a formal announcement about this because I’m terrified once I start telling friends, family, the blog world, etc. I will jinx it. But here I am announcing anyway (just to the blog world, not yet to other friends and family and definitely not on any social media outlet)...

The fiancé and I bought the most precious little three-bedroom house that I ever have seen. The house is located in a vibrant, young, up-and-coming area of town. The neighborhood is adorned with older homes that have been renovated to include a few modern touches. Our home was built in 1955. The house features original hardwood floors throughout that have been refinished to look like new. It has other updates as well including the kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. I'm so in love with it! The yard needs a little TLC in the landscaping department (and shutters), but other than that there is not one thing that needs to be changed! We close on August 2nd, which means the first weekend in August we will officially be moving into our first home together. We are both so excited for this next step as we begin our life together. 

Now if only I could find the will to start packing...
