We are slowly but surely unpacking boxes and settling into our new home.
Baby Steps.
I keep having to remind myself that this process isn't going to happen overnight, but if you know me at all then you know that the disorganization and chaos of it all is about to drive me straight into the psych ward.
But even with the clutter and mounds of boxes in every corner of the house, I can't help but smile. It already feels like home.
As much as Steven and I are enjoying the new house, I think the dogs love it even more. It took them a few days to get used to the fact that they could roam the yard without the pulling and tugging of a leash, but once they figured it out, they were hooked. Now I can't for the life of me get this dog to come back inside.
Cooper and Kane aren't the only boys enjoying the new backyard. The fiancé couldn't wait to fire up the grill out back! I was just excited that he was the one who decided to cook our first meal in our new home.
It's safe to say that we are all adjusting just fine. This weekend we are having two PODS full of furniture delivered to the house. Hopefully once we get those unloaded the nagging little bitch inside of my head will calm down a bit.
Until then, there is always wine...

  3. Moving is such hard work, but I am sure you are having a ball imagining what the spaces will turn into and nesting. I always love that part. Can't wait to see pics! And wine is perfect for these kinds of situations... =)
