Thankful.

11.27.2013

I have so many blessings in my life to be thankful for that I don't even know where to begin. This year in particular has been one of the most memorable and precious years of my life. So many changes, so many milestones, so much to be thankful for.

Here is just a glimpse into all that I am thankful for this year...

1// My fiancé for his love and faithfulness. For his support of my wildest dreams. For being my better half. For pushing me to want to be a better person. For everything that he has given to me and for everything that he has yet to do. For wanting to spend the rest of his life with me. For being him and loving me as who I am. For being the man of my dreams.

2// My family for being my rock and my support system. For the unconditional love that they have shown. For also pushing me to be a better person. For being my best friends. For doing everything in their power to give me the wedding of my dreams. For my new family that I am marrying into. For welcoming me into their family with open arms. For all the love they have shown me in only a short period of time. For two families with so much love in their hearts.

3// Our fur babies for loving us more than they love themselves. For being uncontrollably excited to see us every afternoon. For being the best snugglers on cold nights. For the never ending puppy kisses. For comforting me when I'm sad or sick. For always being on guard. For being the cutest fur babies in all the land. For having our hearts wrapped around their paws.

4// Friends who are there for me whenever I need them for whatever reason I need them. For the random phone calls and texts messages. For knowing no matter how far apart we are physically, we are always there for each other. For the late night wine nights. For the conversations reminiscing on our college days. For knowing me better than I sometimes know myself. For the years of memories we share and the many more to come.

5// Our home that we have made together. For being more that just a roof over our head, but for being a safe and inviting place to come home to every evening. For being a home that we will forever remember as "our first." For being small and understated, but our pride and joy. For being our first major accomplishment as a couple. For always being special in our hearts.

6// My job which I get to wake up and to each morning when I know there are so many other struggling to find work. For being a place in which I can put my college degree to good use. For the people I work with who have become more than just coworkers.

7// My good health that I promise to never take for granted. For not having to worry about anything more than a cold or a sprained ankle. For giving me the ability to live a full and healthy life.

8// This Blog for being a place I look forward to coming to and writing each morning. For the wonderful people I have met through blogging. For helping me discover a passion that I never knew I had. For giving me dreams that a year ago I had never imagined. For my sweet, wonderful readers who I consider as friends. For all the exciting things to come in my blogging future.

Happy Thanksgiving!
