Things I Could Never Quit

3.11.2014

Wine
Doest this even need further explanation? No? I didn't think so. Wine is at the very top of the list for so many obvious reasons. It's delicious, it's therapy, it's relaxation in a bottle, it's something I just could never quit.

Chick-Fil-A
It's just so damn good. I would literally give up any other fast food restaurant right this very second, but not Chick-Fil-A. Some days I wake up with a need for a diet lemonade and spicy chicken sandwich. I would even go so far as to say that I could eat Chick-Fil-A every single day of the week and still not get tired of it. Nope, I could never quit eating Chick-Fil-A.

Happy Hour
The laughing, the talking, the catching up with old friends. Happy hour is where all your stress goes to die, and for that very reason alone, I could never quit happy hour.

Online Shopping
You know those days where everything seems to go wrong? The days when the only cure is a little retail therapy, but also you want nothing more than to put on a pair of sweatpants and pour yourself the world's largest glass of wine? Those are the days where online shopping feels the best. Those are the days that I open my browser, click on a few of my favorite online boutiques, and watch all my worries disappear. The only thing better than that is coming home to your package waiting for you on the front porch! My stress level is far too high to ever consider quitting online shopping. It's my therapy (besides the wine, of course).

Puppy Snuggles
I've become so dependent on my nightly puppy snuggles that I literally can't go to sleep unless I'm squeezed in between the fiancé on one side of me and both the dogs cuddled up on the other side of me. A big bed all to yourself may sound good to some people, but it sounds absolutely terrible to me. I need my puppy snuggles like I need my sleep, and that is why I will never quit letting my dogs sleep in the bed with us at night.

Traveling
Sure, it can be a real pain to make travel plans with two high maintenance dogs (also, see above), but that doesn't stop us from taking a road trip whenever possible. Something about a getaway, even for a weekend, does the body and mind good. I will never quit traveling.

Cowboy Boots
There is a reason I own more cowboy boots than I could count on one hand. I'm obsessed. They literally go with anything (although I'm partial to a summer dress paired with my boots), they're more than comfortable, you can wear them year round, and they're cute! I will never quit buying or wearing adorable cowboy boots.

Talking About My Wedding
I understand that most everyone else could care less where we display the cakes at the wedding, but that isn't going to stop me from talking about it. For the next 33 days it's all wedding, all the time. I'm only a bride once you know, and for that very reason, I will never quit talking about my wedding.

What are some things that you could never quit?

  12. just a word to the wise, i ate chick-fil-a every day for lunch in college and it was a large factor in why i gained the freshman 25, skipped right past the freshman 15 with daily 12 pack nuggets and those glourious sandwiches, lemonade, fries, and a cheesecake slice (those weren't always daily) I actually grew tired of it for about 2 years but no worries, back on the bandwagon now :) Puppies, i love my puppy cuddles especially when shes being extra sweet or sensitive to my bad day
