Melt in your Mouth Chicken

12.03.2013

If you've been around these parts at all than you know that my skills in the kitchen are limited at best. They are getting better (thank you Pinterest), but I'm certainly no Betty Crocker when it comes to cooking dinner (or cooking anything really). My call to fame as of late have been a three ingredient chicken pasta dish and a five ingredient taco casserole. Anyone see a trend here?
I tend to gravitate toward recipes with less than 6 ingredients. I'm less likely to burn the kitchen down that way. So you can imagine my excitement when I came across this "melt in your mouth chicken" recipe with only five ingredients (one of those ingredients being chicken and another being salt/pepper). It's practically a three ingredient recipe. And claims to be so good that it actually melts in your mouth. I had to give it a try.
**Spoiler alert: It was delicious and I didn't burn anything while cooking it.

The best thing about this recipe (other than the fact that I can count the ingredients on one hand) is how easy it was to prepare. You literally combine, mix, spread, cook and devour. The fiancé loved it. I loved it. Even the pups loved the little pieces that we dropped (on purpose) for them. If you are looking for a quick and easy weeknight go-to that still taste like you slaved over a stove all afternoon, I highly recommend this dish.

  2. I'm with you - the fewer ingredients the better. I hate having to buy some random spice and then never use it again. This looks so good!
