Bumpdate || Week 33

How far along: 33 weeks!

Due Date: November 7, 2015

Baby is the size of: a honeydew melon. She's weighing around 4.5 pounds and is about 19 inches long. She is putting on about a half pound per week and will continue putting on weight until birth. She is also keeping her eyes wide open while she's awake and has started coordinating her breathing with sucking and swallowing (which is probably why I feel her hiccuping all the time!).

Symptoms: SPD, heartburn, and swelling. My wedding rings officially went on vacation this week because they were starting to get too tight and my belly button has almost completely popped out. The top part has popped and the rest is laying flat for now.

Gender: Our sweet baby GIRL!

Name: Charlie Elizabeth

Movement: As she grows larger, her movements are also getting stronger. Instead of kicks I am now feeling more wave-like movement. Her favorite thing to do it stick her butt out so it pushes my stomach out on one side. She is still nicknamed "lazy baby" because she doesn't particularly like to move much throughout the day, so I am having another non-stress test done at my doctor appointment next week. She passed the first one with flying colors, so I'm sure this one will be the same.

Nursery: I'm almost ready to do a full nursery reveal. I just need to add a few more touches and it will be ready for Charlie Beth! You can see her nursery inspiration here

Labor Signs: I had a few braxton hicks contractions Monday night, but nothing to worry about.

Sleep: Some days I swear it feels like I'm in the first trimester all over again. It's all I can do to keep my eyes open at work some afternoons, and I'm in bed before 9:00 most nights. Somehow I'm still lucky enough to make it through the night without getting up for potty breaks, but I do wake up several times a night to switch from one side to the other.

Best moment this week: Tailgating on the quad in Tuscaloosa on Saturday. It was Charlie Beth's first game day experience, and it will probably be our last one this year. I can't wait to take our girl to football games next year!
Missing anything: Something about football Saturdays just really having me craving a beer..

Cravings/Aversions: If it's something sweet, I want it.

Mood: Getting anxious to meet my girl!!

Looking forward to: Getting the finishing touches done to the nursery, installing the car seat, and packing my hospital bags! Something about having a car seat installed and a bag ready to go makes it seem like things are getting close!

Husband is: Also getting anxious to meet his little girl. I seriously can't wait to witness the moment he holds her for the very first time.

New mommy question: Nothing new to add this week.
