You may have noticed that I skipped my weekly bumpdate last week. This was done intentionally. During my first appointment last week the doctor moved my due date back five days. To stay on track with the new due date, I decided to skip a week of posting and catch back up today.
How far along: 7 weeks, 4 days
Due Date: March 10, 2018 <--- My due date was moved back five days during my appointment last week.
Baby is the size of: a raspberry - over half an inch long and growing by about 100 cells a minute!
Gender: I have a strong feeling this is a little boy growing inside of me.
Name: We have a couple of girl names narrowed down, but since I'm feeling like there is a boy in there those names won't do us much good. Boy names are impossible!!
Symptoms: Exhaustion and some nausea. I didn't feel nauseated at all with Charlie Beth, so this is new. I also had perhaps the weirdest pregnancy symptom ever last week. Two nights in a row I broke out in hives. I've never broken out in hives in my life. The first night it happened as I was leaving the lake. I actually thought they were bug bites. I decided to soak in an oatmeal bath when I got home, but the itching only got worse. As I realize the bumps were spreading from my stomach down my legs and arms, I realized it was hives. I ended up having to take a Benadryl because they got so bad. The next morning the hives were completely gone. That night, however, just as we were finishing up dinner they returned in the same way they had the night before. I never found a cause so I just chalked it up to the weirdest pregnancy ailment ever.
Weight Gain: No gain or loss this week.
Movement: Waiting (im)patiently to feel those sweet little baby kicks
Cravings/Aversions: Nothing particular
Missing anything: Wine. ;) We were at a wedding this past weekend and I missed joining in on the cocktails
Sleep: I'm always tired. I'm in bed before 9:00 most every night and sleeping soundly until morning.
Mood: Happy overall with a few mood swings mixed in here and there
Maternity Clothes: Maybe.... ;)
Nursery: I found a theme I like if this is a baby boy, but I'm sure I'll change my mind a thousand times before we get started on anything.
Best moment this week: Seeing our little nugget on ultrasound and hearing that sweet heartbeat. Love at first sight!

Looking forward to: A quiet and restful weekend. Our summer has been jam packed every week, so we are excited for a free weekend of NO plans!
Husband is: also thinking this baby is a baby boy. We'll see in a couple of months!

Ohhhh a boy huh???? Boy names are IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Chris and I talked about them several times and we decided that Zoe had to be a girl because we just couldn't come up with a single boy name that we agreed on. I cant wait to hear what it is! The hives thing is totally random. Hopefully those stay away, right?
